Barbara Ward

Is anyone familiar with the writings of Barbara Ward?  Barbara Ward (1914-1981) was an English economist, journalist and educator.  She wrote on political and economic affairs.  She was also an early environmentalist.  Her name came up in a conversation today, but I am not familiar with her work.  Do you think her work could be beneficial to our work?
